On Monday, February 3, Ukraine is expected to experience colder temperatures and snow. This was reported by meteorologist Natalia Didenko.

"Winter has returned from a short vacation and is immediately getting to work. It has resumed the cold, prepared frosts for a promotion, and instructed atmospheric fronts to organize snowfall," — she noted.

The expert added that on Monday night, air temperatures will range from 0 to -4 degrees Celsius. During the day, temperatures are expected to vary from -2 degrees Celsius to +3 degrees Celsius.

Due to atmospheric fronts, light snow will periodically fall in most regions on February 3. In the southern part of Ukraine and the southeast, snow and wet snow will be moderate, with the potential for wet snow accumulation and complications on the roads.

Natalia Didenko also mentioned that with higher air temperatures, there will be rain in the country, particularly in Crimea. Heavy precipitation is expected in some areas of the southern part of the country.

Winds in Ukraine are expected to be predominantly northwesterly and moderate. In the western regions, gusts of wind may reach 15-20 meters per second on February 3.

In Kyiv, Monday will be cool, with nighttime temperatures dropping to -1 to -3 degrees Celsius, and daytime temperatures around zero. Light snow is expected in the capital that day, along with icy conditions.

Overall, Natalia Didenko warned that next week it will become cooler in Ukraine by several degrees. Nighttime temperatures may drop to -3 to -8 degrees Celsius, while daytime temperatures will be between -3 degrees Celsius and +2 degrees Celsius.

Previously, the meteorologist had warned that in the future it will get colder in Kyiv and Ukraine. Daytime temperatures are expected to range from -3 degrees Celsius to +3 degrees Celsius, while nighttime temperatures will be between -3 and -8 degrees Celsius.

It should be added that February will begin with relatively low temperatures. However, it will mostly be cloudy, and these frosts will not be particularly felt by Ukrainians. Snow is expected in the north and east, while in other regions, significant snowfall is not anticipated — if snow does fall, it will quickly melt away.
