Stole €27,000: A mobilized individual in Transcarpathia raided the office of the military enlistment center chief.

In the Transcarpathian region, one of the mobilized individuals stole nearly 30 thousand euros from the office of the head of the "military enlistment office" and escaped through the window. This was reported by MP Olga Vasylevska-Smahliuk.

The burglary occurred at one of the territorial centers for recruitment and social support in Transcarpathia. It was reported that a man, who was later found to have a criminal record, was brought in for a military medical commission at the TCK.

The repeat offender used a lockpick to open the door of the head of the TCK's office, from which he stole 27 thousand euros, approximately 1.15 million UAH. After that, the man managed to slip away through the window.

The head of the TCK later stated that he had been collecting this money to purchase drones for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Law enforcement is searching for the fugitive, having announced an "Interception" plan in the region.

The National Police and the Transcarpathian TCK and SP have not commented on the incident yet. The parliamentarian also did not specify how she learned about the case.

Recall that in late December 2023, a man who was called to the TCK in Chernivtsi jumped out of the window. However, the leap from the second floor did not turn out well for the conscript.

By the summer of 2024, a conscript who was wandering around Chernivtsi without documents ended up at the TCK and SP to draft an administrative protocol. The man attempted to escape through the window on the first floor but broke his leg.
