In Ukraine, there are still 3.7 million men over the age of 25 who can be mobilized. This was stated on "Novini.Live" by Larisa Bilozir, a member of the parliamentary group "Dovira."
"3.7 million can be mobilized. This is for those over 25. And we also want to sweep up all the youth in the villages, whom their mothers have not yet managed to evacuate," Bilozir said.
According to her, a significant number of mothers are evacuating their sons from Ukraine.
"We know that many mothers are taking their children aged 15, 16, 17, and I do not blame them. Some have an older son fighting, and she (the younger one, — ed.) was evacuated because her heart cannot bear two deaths," Bilozir noted.
The parliament member clarified that the 3.7 million men over 25 who can still be mobilized do not include those who have left or are living in occupied territories.
Bilozir also reported that in Ukraine:
It should be noted that Ukrainian authorities have not proposed to mobilize citizens aged 18. Such a request was allegedly pressed by the U.S. on Kyiv, Reuters reported on November 27.
Recall that on November 27, the Office of the President responded to the U.S. call to mobilize Ukrainians from the age of 18.
On November 28, military officer Andriy Kryvushchenko, with the call sign "Borodyulya," stated that there is no need to rush in mobilizing 18-year-old Ukrainians.
