When will the war in Ukraine end?
Vladimir Putin, persistently referring to the war as a "special military operation," stated that he cannot specify an exact date for the end of hostilities due to the complex situation. However, he assured that the Russian army is fulfilling all its initial tasks.
He also indicated that he would not disclose a date when Russian troops would liberate territories in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation occupied by the Ukrainian army.
According to Putin, there will soon be "no one left in Ukraine who wants to fight." He expressed his readiness for negotiations, "but it is necessary for the other side to be prepared for negotiations and compromises as well."
The President of the Russian Federation claims he is ready to sign peace agreements with any legitimate authorities in Ukraine, even with Vladimir Zelensky, while simultaneously labeling the current Kyiv authorities as illegitimate.
According to Putin, "the Rada and the chairman of the Rada are legitimate."
The defense of Belarus is an important component of Russia's new nuclear doctrine
Putin stated that his country will do everything to ensure the security of Belarus, which is a crucial part of Russia's updated nuclear strategy. Moscow will view threats to Minsk as equivalent to threats against itself. This is done in coordination with Belarusian President Lukashenko.
When asked if the West understood the signal sent by the updated doctrine, Putin replied that this should be asked of the West itself.
"Experiment" with "Oreshnik"
"Let them propose to us and let them suggest to those in the West and the U.S., who pay them for their analysis, to conduct a kind of technological experiment, a high-tech duel of the 21st century. Let them identify a target to strike, say, in Kyiv. They should concentrate all their air defense and missile defense forces there. And we will strike with the 'Oreshnik.' And we'll see what happens. We are ready for such an experiment," said the President of the Russian Federation, reaffirming his assertion that no one has a chance to shoot down the "Oreshnik."
He mentioned that the range of the "Oreshnik" is up to 5,500 km and that he personally made the final decision regarding the production of this system.
Putin also stated that the combat readiness of the Russian army is the highest in the world, although, according to him, "all NATO countries are fighting against it."
The Russian economy according to Putin
The President of Russia suggested that the growth of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the Russian Federation for the year could reach 3.9%, or even 4%: this means that over two years, economic growth would be around 8%.
He compared this to Western countries, mentioning that, according to him, the U.S. is at 5-6%, the Eurozone at 1%, and the leading economy in the Eurozone, Germany, at 0%.
Maternal capital was described by Putin as a "unique invention" of the Russian Federation, as well as the family mortgage at 6%. He promised to "restore order" regarding the issuance of preferential mortgages.
The capital of Chechnya, Grozny, which was rebuilt after the war with Russia, was called by Putin a "modern Russian miracle." He also spoke about the construction in the Ukrainian territories occupied by Russian troops in the Donbas. According to him, "the Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics, as well as the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions, have a very high tax potential. They are quickly moving towards self-sufficiency."
President Putin also spoke extensively about BRICS. He stated that it is not a tool against the West; the alliance operates in the interests of its member states, is rapidly developing, and many countries are showing interest in it.
According to Putin, the Russian stock market continues to remain in the "green zone" during trading on the Moscow Exchange.
The Moscow Exchange suspended trading in the dollar and euro from June 13 due to sanctions imposed against it and the National Clearing Center by the U.S. To determine the exchange rates of the dollar and euro against the ruble, the Central Bank of the Russian Federation uses bank reporting and information from over-the-counter trading.
Putin's friends
Vladimir Putin stated that he considers Chinese President Xi Jinping to be his friend.
He also mentioned that he has not yet met with former Syrian President Bashar al-Assad since his arrival in Moscow but plans to do so.
According to Putin, Russia has achieved its goals in Syria, "preventing the creation of a terrorist enclave" in that country. He identified Israel as the main beneficiary of events in Syria, asserting that Russia condemns the seizure of any Syrian territories.
