The UK Ministry of Defence reports that the Russian army is advancing towards the southern border of Pokrovsk after capturing the village of Shevchenko, which is situated about 4-5 km from the city.

The village of Shevchenko is located at the intersection of two roads leading to Pokrovsk.

According to ISW, Russian troops have driven Ukrainian forces out of Novotroitske, to the southwest of Pokrovsk, and have advanced in these areas to the south, southeast, and southwest of Pokrovsk.
