As a result of the Russian strike on Zaporizhzhia, at least nine people have died, and 17 others have been injured.
According to the Office of the Prosecutor General, a vehicle repair complex was completely destroyed, and shops, multi-story buildings, and other civilian infrastructure were damaged.
"Thousands of such strikes carried out by Russia during this war clearly indicate: Putin does not seek true peace - he aims to wield power over any country using bombs, missiles, and any other forms of violence. Only through strength can we resist this. And only through strength can we establish true peace," stated Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
On Friday, Russian forces also struck Kryvyi Rih, resulting in two deaths, 16 injuries, and damage to residential buildings.
